Basic Eye Examination
The basic eye exam includes the refraction to provide us with your prescription for eye glasses. This exam also includes the evaluation of the health of your eyes. This can be done by either a dilation or by using our Optomap, which is a digital retinal evaluation and does not require any dilating drops resulting in no after effects of blurred vision. The basic exam does not include any Contact Lens evaluation.
Contact Lens Evalution
The Contact Lens evaluation is an add on to the basic exam. A signed prescription for contact lenses is required to order contacts in the state of California. This evaluation includes using diagnostic lenses to help determine the best fit and prescription for each patient. If a patient is a new wearer of contacts, he or she will need to complete a training session with our staff before a prescription will be released.
Medical Office Visits
Our Doctors are here to provide you with the best health care for your eyes. If you are having any medical issues with your eyes, we can evaluate the condition and provide the proper treatment. This evaluation does not include a refraction for the prescription for eye glasses or contact lenses.
Pre & Post Op Care
Our doctors will provide you with both pre and post op care of several surgical procedures. We co-manage with expert ophthalmologists to provide the best surgical results for our patients. Both LASIK and Cataract surgical procedures are co-managed by our optometrists.
